Doha, Qatar, one of the fastest growing cities and cultural centers in the world, entered the bidding to host the 2024 Summer Olympic Games. The branding solution focused on design elements found in Qatar’s Islamic art and architecture, and used high-resolution visuals of Doha’s distinctive skyline to highlight its recent innovation. A promotional poster depicts abstract images of athletes in the most popular Olympic sports stylized to be reminiscent of Arabic script.
